wanna be boxer

I am a 17 year old girl who weights 200 pounds...I need to get into shape badly....can you give me any tips on how to get started?

In addition my home life is rough and I get super frustrated and I take it out by punching stuff...if I got into shape could this benefit me as a boxer?

The first thing you must do is stop feeling sorry for yourself. So your home life is rough. Put that thought out of your mind. It is just another reason you can't lose weight and get in shape. Make a list of all the reason you want to get in shape and then make a list of all the things that are keeping you from getting in shape then throw the second list away. Even if you have a terrible home life you can't let that stop you from being the great person that's inside you just dying to get out. Keep the negative out of the picture and bring the greatness to the table. Start out slowly running each day. If it's only a half a block to start that's fine. Just build on it everyday. Never use anger as a motivator. It just robs you of your cardio. Let the reason of bettering yourself be your motivator. Don't judge yourself by other's valves but set your own standard and drive to achieve them. The only one who can stop you from greatness is your lack of faith in yourself. Be a warrior and defeat the negativity in your life and be the person you want to be. It won't be easy but who wants easy. If it doesn't kill you it will just make you stronger. Hello,

Boxing is a very unique sport it helps you curve tempers. Allowing you to leave it all in the ring. Having a tendency to punch things our be hot tempered will be more of a hindering than helpful. The moment you loose your temper you get yourself hurt. You want to avoid that and yes boxing training is excellent source for weight loss as I talk about through out this site. You will want to start doing cardio for a little while before you go to a gym initially. To get the best benefits from the work outs. I would strong recommended it though.
