Cardio, Cardio, Cardio, I would first start conditioning your body first. If you are in decent shape this should not be that bad. The first thing you will want to is condition your body so you do not get gassed. The hardest part of your first fight is the rounds seem to last an eternity. You can contact a local boxing gym have them work with you on getting you some ring time.
They will intially work on your conditioning and teaching you the basics. Remember most ameature fights in the start are won and lost with the 1, 2 as well by one fighter getting gassed.
Just get in shape start working the bag and you will be ready in no time best of luck, and I respect what you are doing.
